Nashville Catholic Softball Tryouts for 2014 Season

The team is comprised of 7th and 8th grade students who attend a Diocese of Nashville parochial school or who are registered participants of a Diocese of Nashville religious education program. The Nashville Catholic Softball team is not otherwise affiliated with the Diocese of Nashville or any of its schools, including Father Ryan High School and Pope John Paul II High School.

The Nashville Catholic Softball Team offers a program to help

participants prepare for high school softball. The team will typically practice once or twice a week at Father Ryan, and will play other local middle school teams.

Tryouts will be on November 3^rd starting at 1pm at Father Ryan’s softball field.  The length of the tryout will be determined by the number of participants.

**If there is inclement weather, the rainout date will be November 5th at Father Ryan's softball field starting at 4pm.

Game vs. Mt Juliet Canceled

The game vs Mt Juliet is canceled due to weather.  Remember we play Lipscomb Academy at Ryan on Wednesday.

Practice is canceled on 3/3. Please check email later in the week about practice for next week.

Make Up Tryouts

Due to the Forensics tournament on Oct. 27 we wanted to have a second tryout date. Currently they are set for Nov. 11 from 1:30-3:30 pm at the Father Ryan Softball field.  Please send an email to nashville.catholic.softball.team@gmail.com if you are planning on trying out.  This is very important because if there are any changes to the times or dates I will be sending an email out notifying everyone of the changes.

Tryouts are on for today! I know it is cold but we are going to go ahead with them, and get as much done as possible.

Also for those people that have asked about a makeup tryout.  We are currently trying to find a date, and I will post it soon.
